What is Degré Alcool Calcul and Why It Matters

Degré alcool calcul is a tool to estimate your blood alcohol concentration (BAC) based on the amount of alcohol you’ve consumed, your weight, and gender. Understanding your BAC is crucial for making informed decisions about drinking and driving, as well as understanding your body’s response to alcohol.

  1. Enter your weight in kilograms.
  2. Select your gender.
  3. Enter the number of alcoholic drinks you’ve consumed. One drink is equivalent to 10 grams of alcohol.

Formula & Methodology

The calculator uses the Widmark formula to estimate BAC. The formula is as follows:

BAC = (A * 0.8 * 1000) / (R * W * 0.785)

Where:

  • A = amount of alcohol consumed in grams
  • R = alcohol elimination rate (0.015 for men, 0.018 for women)
  • W = body weight in kilograms
