Formula & Methodology
The Duke Score is calculated using the following formula:
Duke Score = (0.014 * (Exercise Heart Rate – Resting Heart Rate)) + (0.018 * (Exercise Systolic Blood Pressure – Resting Systolic Blood Pressure)) – (0.007 * Age) – 0.014
Your risk category is then determined as follows:
- Low risk: Duke Score < 1.5
- Intermediate risk: 1.5 ≤ Duke Score ≤ 3.5
- High risk: Duke Score > 3.5
