Introduction & Importance
RSI, or Relative Strength Index, is a momentum oscillator that measures the speed and change of price movements of an asset. It was introduced by J. Welles Wilder Jr. in his 1978 book “New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems”.
RSI is one of the most popular technical indicators used by traders and investors to identify overbought or oversold conditions in the market. It can also help in finding potential support and resistance levels.
